Gulf SoL promotes three main activities:
1) exploring core questions through
dialogue,
2) expanding and deepening connections
across the SoL community, and
3) building capacity through application
and practice of organizational learning principles.
Core Questions
Gulf SoL promotes dialogue among
leaders in the Gulf region around issues of deep importance
to the broader community.
Through conferences like The
Shaybah Café, The Hawar Dialogue, and The Jeddah
Dialouge, we create a space for reflection and engagement
around issues that matter. Through these we hope to create new
cross-organizational projects for collaboration and positive
change. Gulf SoL will actively support the development and progression
of these projects by leveraging a global network of SoL members
and practitioners.
Community Connections
Gulf SoL provides tools and convenes
events to promote discovery and sharing of knowledge.
We support open collaboration and
exchange between members though meetings and conferences, and
through our website http://www.gulfsol.org.
With online discussions, document sharing, event calendar, and
member profiles, our website provides a virtual workspace for
our communities to create and share knowledge.
Applied Learning
Gulf SoL builds capacity in the disciplines
of organizational learning.
We promote the development of Gulf
SoL members through support of ongoing projects and through
workshops. Workshops are conducted by consultant members both
as public offerings and as customized sessions for member organizations.
