SoL Global Forum On April 13-16, 2008

Gulf SoL hosted the 3rd SoL Global Forum in Muscat Oman, Bridging the Gulf: Learning across Organizations, Sectors, & Cultures. This event was co-hosted by with the Ministry of Higher Education in the Sultanate, and brought together representatives from 47 countries with the local business, government, and community leaders from the Gulf Region in a unique exchange of perspective.

Gulf SoL Workshops
On Gulf SoL periodically conducts workshops to build capacity of our member organizations and their people in the practice of organizational learning. On October 27-30, 2007, the Foundations for Leadership workshop, the flagship offering of the Society for organizational Learning, was conducted in Jeddah. The session was facilitated by Sherry Immediato, Managing Director of Founding SoL, Robert Hanig, Founding Partner of Dialogos, with distinguished local guest speakers, including Sh Saleh Alturki, Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Abdulkareem Abu Alnasr, CEO of National Commercial Bank, Dr. Suhair Alqarashi, Dean of Dar Al Hekma College, Mosaed Al-Ohali, VP of Specialty Chemicals, SABIC, and Dr. Ghazi Binzagr.
